Department of Education was established in the university campus in 1964-65 with the vision of “To prepare competent committed, research oriented teachers and teacher educators to provide educational leadership and meet upcoming global changes in the field of education.”This Department offers M.Ed (Full time) and Ph.D (Education) Courses. This department has been famous as a Department of testing in all over the world. the school had prepared so many different types of psychological test like, intelligent test, personality test, aptitude test ,mental health battery, emotional maturity scale and etc.Department have wide learning resources,departmental library,computer lab,reading room,smart rooms and a conference hall having with LED screen and having the seating arrangment for 150 satudents.
To provide opportunities to teachers and teacher educators to organize scholastic & Co-Scholastic activities in the Department and Various Teacher Education Colleges.
To motivate teachers and teacher educators to learn each topic by heart andget new knowledge in various subjects of curriculum and practical research activities.
