About
M.Sc.Environmental science course came into existence in year 1989 the then Vice chancellor Dr.M.N.Desai along with veteran Environment scientist Dr.R.N. Mehta who was responsible for intiating environment science courses at various educational institutions. Dr. Biharilal Kanaiyalal was persudaded by the then Vice Chancellor and Shri Biharibhai was kind enough to donate towards the building of Environmental science.
The mission of the department of Environment Science is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the nature, key environmental problems, and the use of a wide range of environmental approaches and methodologies so that they can play a leading role in the development and implementation of environmental management principles and practices at the local and global levels.
Our vision is to educate and inspire students, making them more critical and sensitive to environment. Students will also be trained in all elements of environmental management and enhancing their knowledge to address modern environmental concerns and its management.
Timely completion of syllabus, Student friendly atmosphere, Student counselling round the year. Extra time to students who lack behind, Regular attendance, visit to industry and factories as and when required.
